Description

500ml bottle, no dating.

I removed the cap and it wanted to gush but nay, I say. That was temporary.

It pours a lightly hazy straw gold with a fluffy head of foam.

Smell is very spicy. Fennel, pepper, light clove, very earthy, hints of tartness but that may be from the spicing.

Fennel and very peppery taste, dry, earthy, again, hints of tartness. Unusual flavours here and it takes some getting used to.

Medium body with lively carbonation, especially on the back of the throat.

Lots of sediment in the last pour, it’s bottle conditioned. Once that was in my glass, I think I enjoyed it more.

Worth trying.

A dark golden amber ipa with a thick frothy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy herbaceous hops, light mineral notes, light dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, biscuit malt with resinous hops, light citrus pulp, resinous and piney. Bottle from La Fine Mousse, summer 2015.

122016 L310 on the label.

Pours an almost clear amber with a healthy head of foam that takes ages shrink.

Smell is spicy, somewhat bitter, mildly sweet, a bit peppery.

The taste is spicy, I get hibiscus and chilies, bitter, dry, bitter aftertaste.

Medium body and carbonation.

Pretty tasty. Feeling a bit more of the heat after every sip.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Starts mild, malty, light fruity-hoppy touch. Some metallical notes in the background. Finish more balanced. A bit boring.

Biere from Paris. No jest czerwona barwa, lekko mglista, spora piana, nawet trwala, Poczatkowo smak czerwonych owocow, czeresnia, sporo czeresni, chmielnosc jest wyczuwalna, malo slodowe, podniebienie po jakims czasie zaczyna sie rozgrzewac i zdaje sobie wtedy sprawe ze spore przyprawowosci, papryczka chili, czy hubanero w mniejszej ilosci, pieprz ziolowy, czosnkowa ostrosc, wszystko czeresnia muska, fajnie to wymyslone i oczywiscie doprawione.

Stout on red wine barrels, still quite sharp. Wine is there, giving some fruity acidity and sweetness, and the stout itself is boozy and somewhat roasted. Bit thin, might do well with some age to soften.
