Jet black with a rich light brown head. Roast and nice cocoa notes, roast and some molasses notes and a cocoa finish.

Tap at Osaka-jo Craft Beer Holiday 2019. Hazy pale gold. Nose is wheat, tropical fruit, citrus. Light, wheaty, crisp, nice fruit. A bit of prickliness in the finish. Not spectacular but easy drinking and nice.

Swan Lake Crepuscular Rays NEIPA 5% More opaque than hazy but it does have a lovely juicy hop aroma. A bit watery in terms of the body and the flavor while juicy sweet is similarly thin. A tasty enough beer but not really to style. Haze Bois will be disappointed. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 7 p 3 o 11-12

Loads of barrel. Bourbon sweetness, vanilla. Rich, lightly boozy. Dubbel fruitiness too, bit nutty. Good stuff.

Keyaki. Aroma is nice. Herbal, nice yeastiness. Good fruitiness in the flavour, some yoghurt. Good.

Tap at Gremlin. Cloudy, golden, wheaty but sweet. Maybe feels quite yeasty. Don't get the hoppiness, maybe a touch in the aroma, but the taste feels malty. Maybe some fruit and hops later but you really have to look for it. Don't get it.

Bottle. Thanks Wada-san. Aroma is marker pen, roast, bourbon. Taste is smooth creamy and sweet. Just a hint of the whisky. Chocolate. Maybe a touch thin bodied. Bit of heat. Booze. Nice. Alternate sips go from booze to loveliness. Would have preferred more loveliness.

Keyaki part 2. Pretty nice. Roasty, chocolate, something interesting. Wheaty. Cocoa powder. Dry. One of my favourite Swan Lake beers.
