Tap @ Furusatomatsuri (18.01.2018). Pours clean dark gold, clear. Soft nose with some candy sugar and fruity esters. Taste has medium bitterness, clean and definktely Belgian yeast character. Less sweet than usual, even dry in the background. Well made example of what I would imagine as Belgian IPA. Dry bitter herbal Belgian linger in the finish. Tasty.

Tap @ Furusatomatsuri (18.01.2019). Pours darker orange, maybe even a bit amber, clear and looks clean, some foam on the top. Nose has a bit of malts and hop freshness and fruitiness. Not too special. Taste is fresh and packed with hop flavours and hop oils. Medium bitterness, feels very clean and has some malts for the base, still mainly hops determining the taste. Light resiny bitter linger in the finish. 7.3.8.4.16

Tap @ Furusatomatsuri (18.01.2018). Golden yellow pour, clear and with nice white bubbles on the top. Light nondescript nose, soft rice feel to it, no acidity. Tastes creamy some rice sweetness there, definitely something that can be drunk quickly. Personally i am not the biggest fan of rice lagers but this one is done well. If you want want to understand the style, try this. Light fizz in the finish, super low bitterness, creamy and soft again.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Nose is stone fruit, citrus, a bit of funky yeast. Weird dual yeastiness, fruity, spicy, dry finish. Not sure it really works but not bad.

Swan Lake Flowery IPA 6% Part of my Togaratte (was that how it was spelled?) set from the brewery and it’s apparently a collaboration beer with the clothing brand/shop United Arrows. It’s a good looking golden amber color, fairly clear with a light beige head. The aroma is pine and caramel plus some flowery notes. The taste is much more flowery though the caramel and pine are also present. It’s got a semi-dry finish and medium body. Overall, a well balanced beer. Checking the label it’s apparently made with edible flowers as well. That kind of makes me like it more.

Double dry hopped with HBC 341 I believe it pours a glossy honey gold with a butterscotch lime aroma. The medium body is more of the same butterscotch lime/combo with a bit of earthiness. Not bad but if feels rushed, if the lime wasn’t there the diacetyl would probably be overpowering for me. Ap 4 Ar 6 t 7 p 4 o 11 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
