Description
The pig philosophy was born in Lorraine, among the "Gros". With us, everyone is "fat" and you don't have to be physically imposing to be "fat" in your mind. Bouteille 33cl @ Niamey Craft beer tasting at Villa Abdou, merci Richard. BB 06/2019. Dorée paille, col blanc retombant vite. Arôme malt pils finement salin et léger citronné avec un petit effet de mangue qui revient en rétro-nasal. Le côté citrique est plaisant et bien accompagné par ce côté minéral. Palais est léger rafraîchissant, malt pils, fin salin complété par un fruité tropical qui tranche sur l'aspect aigrelet.

Bottle at home from La Cave a Bulles, 23rd September 18. Pours a slightly hazy light coloured orange. Aroma is orange, citrus, some tropical notes. Taste is citrus, tropical fruit, some bitterness, very enjoyable.

From backlog. 330ml bottle from La Cave a Bulles, Paris. Sweetish, hoppy and grassy with some pine, citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruits, hints of pineapple. Okay.

Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, BB 02/2019. Brassée chez Hoppy Road. Pourpre, col crémeux fin rosé. Arôme de baies rouges avec pas mal d'effluves de framboises sur rétro rappelant un effet plus doux et pâtissier de cerise. Myrtilles apportent un fini plus léger 'watery'. Rétro avec une pointe de gousse de vanille. Sur la toute fin je note un soupçon de notes un peu veille levure voire de rance. Palais est finement funk, acidulé avec un niveau alcool marqué, sur un fini fruité rouge tenace dont une petite part de sucre résiduel pour un léger collant aux lèvres, lactose et douceur vanille. Touche verte feuilles, herbacé sur amertume noble. Effet léger myrtille revient sur la toute fin.

Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, BB 01/2019. Brune trouble, col épais blanc-cassé. Arôme est excellent au niveau du grains, malté et grillé à souhait sur de belles notes torréfiées. Pain grillé. Palais est bien malté, note biscuitée, grillé, caramel et fin chocolaté tirant sur le moka. Amertume est fine sur la fin avec un petit effet agrumes. Le tout reste très bien placé sur les malts avec un effet café-biscuité qui perdure tout au long;

Keg at Hoppy loft. It pours cloudy deep purple with a small white head. The aroma is soft, fruity, juicy, tangy berry, blackcurrant, bramble and raspberry. The taste is crisp, dry, fresh, bright, tart berry, bramble, raspberry, spritzy, clean, granny smith apple, must and earth with a firmly dry finish. Light body and sharp, prickly carbonation. Bright and fruity. Very drinkable stuff.
