Description

Dark brown with a beige, foamy head of modest duration. Aroma of nuts, dark chocolate, ashes. Slight juniper hints. Taste is bittersweet up front, moderate bitter at the back, a mix of burnt grains and minerals. Body to the full side of medium, mildly watery texture. There’s the sharpness that comes from an over-carbonated beer, without it actually being over-carbonated. Still, pretty good.

Can, danke Stefan! Murky yellow, bog offwhite cream. Fresh lively grapefruit juice, skin and pith aroma. Medium light, minerally dry, lightly Kefir Milkskake base, sweet fruitpuree towards the finish but well balanced. Pleasant drink, but I would be just as likely to say it is a fruited kefir/buttermilk drink blindly.

0.33l can, courtesy of and shared with Rauchbierlover, thanks Paolo! Murky dark purple body, light pinkish head. Intensive, sharp aroma, berries and lactic acid, can definitely say it's blackcurrant-like, slightly, nice, lightly sweetish. Light, soft taste, subdued blackcurrant, brown sugar touches, lightly tart. Pleasant, drinkable.

Pours clear redpeachy. Small cola-like head fades instantly. Scent is very complex, raspberry, bit raspberry candy like even, though not very sugary. grape / wine is very fine, but noticable. Taste is full, tart, very refined, mild wine aspects - extremely well blended in. Raspberries linger, but never overpower. Impressive balance !

Bottle. Lightly hazy golden, offwhite head. Flowery, perfumed, apple yoghurt nose. Medium to full body, chewy mellow, fine sparkly. Light minerals, a bit funky, citrus, cumquat, crabapples, wood. Quite interesting.

Cellared for nearly two years. Auburn with a frothy to creamy head that lingers. Aroma of Christmas spices, plums, oak. Taste is mildly bitter with both a light tartness and clove spiciness at the finish. Lingering oak. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Pretty good stuff. You just can’t go wrong with Flügge.

Sehr bitterer Beginn, trocken, natürlich nach Grapefruit. Dann Brett, dabei süffig, auch wenn das bitter zwischenzeitlich sehr trocken ist. Kantig, feine Perlage, langer bitter-fruchtiger Nachhall. Sommerbier! 12/10/11/12/12/12
