Description

29-08-21 // 330 ml bottle. Beer & Riesling hybrid. Nose mineralic and white grapes. Light and effervescent mouthfeel. Very dry. A good acidity. Definitely Riesling vibes. Wine influence is strong. Really enjoying it.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Tangy, vinous fruity, minimally mineral aroma, notes of white grapes, silica, a minimally sulphurous touch. Taste is tart, vinous fruity, some fruit acid, notes of white grapes, grape juice, a touch of lemon, silica, unripe kiwi fruit, sulphite. Watery texture, astringent and minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Vinous fruitiness, quite explicit and all-embracing Riesling flavours, very refreshing - good.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, coffee, mocha, cocoa, whiffs of toffee, lovage, malt lozenge. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty, chocolately dark malty, notes of coffee, burnt coffee, Belgian chocolate, a spicy touch of lovage. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, very fine, soft to flat carbonation. Rich, intense - nice to find a Stout of this quality without adjuncts in these days...

Pours slightly hazed yellow. Small to medium, fast fading white head. Scent is sharp, fruity, very balanced, apricot, very gentle complex and refined. Taste is dry, medium carbonation, sharp, not to tanninic, appleskins, milder apricot than the aroma, but still recognizable. Refined, complex, easy drinker. Very dry, sharp, medium thin body (due to the dryness) . perhaps a tad to high carbo for my taste. interesting drink that's very well made.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is juicy white grapes, exotic fruits, mild brett and dough, really on the juicy side though. Taste is mildly white-peppery, again juicy white grapes, a touch earthy and mild funk. Super drinkable. Great one, as expected.
