Description

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, bottled in June 2021. Clear, very pale golden with a large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, sourish, quite fruity, slightly vinous aroma of lemon, rhubarb and some white wine. Slightly sweet, gently sour, rather vinous and gently fruity taste of lots of white wine, rhubarb, grains and some lemon, followed by a short, slightly tart, rather dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth, slightly astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very mellow, really well-balanced, super smooth and nicely vinous. Good grape ale!

A hazed dark purple ale with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with black currant, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice tart mix of ground cherry, light black currant, light lactic notes, pleasant.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, floral, bretty aroma, notes of Hubba Bubba bubblegum, strawberry, a touch of hay; rather ephemeral fruitiness, the hay gains more and more weight with time. Taste is floral, grassy, minimally tart-ish, pale malty, hints of hay, a weak funky, bretty touch, whiffs of chamomile. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. The hay flavours are less intense than the hop-generated you can find in the one or other Hopfenweisse, a nice bretty touch - OK.
