Description

Cloudy pale yellow. A frothy white head lingers. Aroma full of lemon zest, orange peel, and banana. Taste is sweet to tart with light salty undertones. Finishes tart with a mild, lingering bitterness. Medium to light body. Balanced carbonation. Refreshing. Pretty good.

Pinkish murky amber pour with a tall, frothy head that lingers. Aroma is mildly yeasty with hints of spice and freshly squeezed plum juice. Taste has an up front tartness and finishes mildly bitter and grainy. Moderate carbonation over a medium body. Slightly watery texture. Perhaps a bit of a missed opportunity with this one but still enjoyable. A solid brew from Frankfurt’s current best brewery. (Not a lot of competition on that though.)

RBESG 19. Would've prefered Frånk, but Fränk will work. Murky yellow body, white head. Tropical fruit sitting on tartness in the aroma. Maracuja? Yeah, works for me. Tropical fruits dominate the taste too, with the light tartness making a comeback on good carbonation that helps it allong. Indeed tasty and I do love me some passion fruit.

Bottle. Color: Orangish brown, pinkish long lasting beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma: Moderate tart grapes, spicy and Brett hints. Taste: Mild spicy Saison yeast, notes of red grapes, tart and bittery grapeskins, subtle Brett funk. Light boozy notes at finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate tart, bitter and sweet. Somewhat more bitterness at long lasting finish. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Unusual, pretty complex and nice balance. I like it.
