Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.

It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!

We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.

Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

Bottle from Connollys Wines, Solihull. Poured a clear deep reddish brown with a thin white head. The aroma is of malt and nuts. The flavour is medium bitter, fruity, spicy with caramel and nuts. A rather amazing beer really that needs to be tasted by more people!

Bottle from Connollys Wines, Solihull. Poured a clear amber colour with a foamy white head. The aroma is malty with spicy notes. The flavour is peppery spicy hoppy with some dryness on the palate. This was not at all what I was expecting at all. This is my first beer from Bewdley and it won't be the last.

500ml bottle: best before date of Dec 2013. I opened it at home on 8th Dec 2012, poured into a UK pint sleeve. The beer had a slight haze to its light golden body, on top sat a foaming head of snow white bubbles. Both the nose and taste were citrus lead, lemon peel and grapefruits came to mind. This is a refreshing and lively brew: not sure the Queen would approve but I enjoyed it. Medium body with a depth of citrus flavour running right through to the last sip: not really a bitter beer, the hops giving more taste than bitterness. There must be a malt undertone to prevent the hops taking over completely: but couldn’t find it.

500ml Bottle BBE Sep 2013: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on 7th Dec 2012. Golden hue to this light brew: good, full head of snow white foam on top, looks good, clear and bright. This stronger version of ’Worcestershire Way’ is fairly sweet and although it uses the same hops it seems to have a bigger maltier aroma and taste than its weaker brother. Biscuity, baked malts in the nose and mouth with the hops being pushed towards the end of each gulp to give a satisfying semi-bitter finish. The body depth is fine with the alcohol being hidden nicely: a very pleasant brew, I like the sweeter brews.
