Description
We, Sharp’s Brewery, are a modern brewer of cask and bottled beer based in Rock, Cornwall, and owner of the UK’s number one cask and bottled beer, Doom Bar. We’ve grown rapidly to become the largest brewer of cask beer in the South West.
Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp. The brewery has been through three phases – from a small micro brewery, to a larger facility within the same building and finally to the current phase that has seen the Brewery extend its premises to accommodate more vessels and increase its brewing capacity. Since 2011, the brewery has been owned by Molson Coors.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Beer is light gold and clear with a small loose white head. Light aroma, a little bit soapy, some grapefruit and a little bit of tropical fruit. Taste is mostly sweet with some bright orangey hoos given some bitterness. Body on the light side with soft carbonation. Beer has moved on but I guess Sharp's hasn't... it's nice enough really if a little old fashioned.

Cask at the The Antelope, Tooting 10/08/2024 Bright citrus and tropical fruity aroma and taste, some zesty citrus peel, tangerine and mango, juicy, light malts, nice body and soft cask carb mouthfeel, bitter hoppy finish. Pretty decent for a Sharps and great condition.

Clear and golden with a frothy/creamy white head and a soft cereal and citrus aroma. Creamy and soft, light biscuit malt with a bit of a citrusy tang.

Cask pint @ Corbet Arms with Soph after a ride up Haughmond Hill. Pours a relatively clear deep golden amber, good white head. Aroma of tropical citrus. Flavour profile is nice and seshy with a breezy citrus side. Quite pintworthy.

Foamy white head stayed on a well carbonated clear amber coloured body. Faint citrus & grain aroma. Medium bodied, soft & sticky on the back. Malt, grain, bubble gum & stone fruit tastes with a tangy finish. Nicely balanced.

Cask-conditioned at the Beaufort Hunt, Chipping Sodbury, S Gloucs 31/5/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Biscuity malts, a touch of lemon and tangerine fruits, leafy hops, and a moderately dry finish. Good.

Tastes like unfermented wort not nice at all. There are much better 0% beers out there.
