Description
From its location in the heart of the Northamptonshire, the Great Oakley Brewery produces a wide range of first-class, award winning real ales.

Founded in 2005 in the small village of Great Oakley, this family-run business moved to Tiffield in 2012 where it continues to build the brewery’s excellent reputation. Over the years it has gone from strength to strength with its beers winning a number of prestigious awards.

Pint from the cask at Pomfret Arms, Northampton. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, flora, herbs, caramel, grrain & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish

Hand-pulled pint on 18th October 2024; Pomfret Arms, Northampton. Light golden body, white crust. Citrussy little number with a lemon like lead in both the aroma and taste. Calms down as other tropical fruits try to join in. Pale malty undertones.

Cask at Pomfret Arms, Northampton. Pours clear pale gold with a white cap. Aroma: grains, lemon, hedgerow fruits. Taste: light sweet & bitter, grains, earthy, lemon citrus, hedgerow. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.
