Description
Burdock brewery set up shop in what used to be an old Portuguese chicken restaurant, and they transformed the space into an artist-driven bar/restaurant/music hall/microbrewery run by a group of musicians and music lovers. They offer a rotating list of clean pale ales, complex saisons, crisp pilsners, zippy sours, and beer-wine hybrids that are all brewed in house.

375ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer!) shared with Alex.
Loads of cherries with oak and roasted malt notes. Taste is along the same lines. Pretty nice integration of the flavours. Good one.

Re-rate - Mar 06, 2025: Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark brown with small light beige head. Dominant sour cherry underlay with a feint vinous note, mild roast in the background. Again, not a big fruited stout fan, but this is okay. Lowering rating to: 8/4/7/4/16=3.9 rb scale
[notes finally entered Jan 15, 2025 - 8/4/8/4/16=4.0] Poured from bottle @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Medium dark brown with small beige head. Mild chocolate with lots of montmorency cherry profile. Usually not a fruited stout fan, but this is very nice.
