Description
The Heritage Brewing Company was situated in the heart of The National Brewery Centre Museum which incorporates large elements of the original Bass Collection which have been added to and invested in to create a national resource of brewery history, technology and nostalgia.

The brewery was forced to stop brewing in 2023 due to the sale of its location but merged with Burton Bridge Brewery Ltd in 2024 and all production moved there.

28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, sulphur, bread, malt, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft carbonation. Drying finish. Not bad.

13/7/2023. Cask at the Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival 2023. Pours clear straw gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, grass, grapefruit, flowers, malt. Medium sweetness and light bitterness with a tart edge. Moderate body and soft carbonation. Decent summer ale.

Cask. Ambery brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild sweet toffeeish and toasted tones. Flavour is some nutty tones along with mild floral, wooden and some bready tones.

Cask at the thirsty giraffe. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are light citrus and sweet. Light crisp body.

Cask at Sandford Park Alehouse, Cheltenham. Pours deep brown towards black with a beige cap. Aroma: sweet-ish, chocolate, coffee. Taste: moderate+ sweet with lighter bitterness, dry, roast, chocolate, coffee. Light to medium body with fine carbonation. Lacked depth.

Cask, third pint. @CAMRA GBBF Winter Festival 2023, Burton-On-Trent (UK). 17/02/2023 [#5.858 Global - #635 England - #1 Heritage Brewing Co. (My English Brewery #204)] Pours amber with a small head. Aroma: grainy malts, spices and dough. Taste: subtle peppery, spiced malts. Some honey and bread. Spiced mouthfeel. Good example of the style. Next one please!

Gravity cask at CAMRA Winter Beer Festival 2023, Burton-upon-Trent. Pours clear amber gold with a beige cap. Aroma: biscuit malts, fruity, some caramel. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, semi-dry, bread, grains, caramel, light earthy. Medium body with soft carbonation.
