(Bottle, Oedipus Brewery Taproom, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of green apples, grapes, funky yeast and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with apples, unripe pears, grapes, funky yeast and hay. More than medium body, dry. Quite a funky and interesting, lambicish, cider, and really tasty. Nice one.

Fruity, tart taste with grapefruit, grapes, unripe pears, rhubarb and a touch of apple cider vinegar. Low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tart, dry and refreshing. Nice one.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', bottled in December 2020. A little hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity and moderately yeasty aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, some hay and a touch of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-grassy taste of hay, clove, nettles and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly dry, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit grassy finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Smells better than it tastes, not really convincing.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of toasted malt, bread, caramel, dandelion syrup and dried fruit. Pours cloudy dark brown color with large soapy tan-like head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is grassy with dried fruity and toasted note, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is mild to medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Madeleine alright...

Hazy golden-amber, white head. Slightly fruity and caramelly, leaning just a little towards bubble gum (signs of age?), spicy herbs, light lacto / aceto. Moderate sweet malts and cereals, a little mealy, a little spicy, a little rooty, not at all hoppy. Feels like it's past its prime.

Pours a slightly hazy reddish/orange/pinkish colour and a light pinkish head with little retention. Aroma's: fruity, berries, sweet red fruit. Retronasal it's fruity, a little vegetal, light sourish, some sweet spices, earthy. Flavour is light moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with moderate earthy bitterness. Beetroot more for the colour than the flavour it seems, fortunately.

Bottle at THT January. Hazy very dark brown with beige head. Soft smoke, dry cocoa, coriander, fruity hops, light lime, ash. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Weird but quite OK.

THT January. Bottle. Black with tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, peaty. Quite nice roasty and nice. Moderate sweet and bitter. Like the dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation.
