500ml bottle: BBE Nov 2021. Drank at home on 3rd Aug 2020. Chestnut brown body, beige head. Nutty and earthy, with a strong malty base. Hedgerow fruits, bitter hops, it's an Old School ESB and lovely.

Bottle from the Northumberland Beer Box. Grainy aroma with sour berries and hints of coffee. Opaque dark chestnut. Creamy translucent off-white head. Light-medium bitter with a sour edge that gradually dominates. Some sweetness on the periphery. Rich malts and dark berries. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent. Good stuff.
