Keg at the Old Red Cow, London. Pours a fairly murky brown, effervescent, with a tight, lasting beige cream head. Aroma is all wintery spices, prominent cinnamon, with some firm brown bread as well. Medium sweet flavor continues with the winter spices, along with some lightly tangy fruits, toasty bread, perhaps some ripe citrus. Medium bodied with hyperactive, expands-your-mouth carbonation. Fairly sweet finish, some lightly toasted, bready malts, hints of spicy cinnamon, light yeast, mild zippy lemon, subtle earthy bitterness. A nicely nuanced beer.

Half from keg at The Queens Head. White, low head. Good lacing. Close to clear golden coloured body. Smell of sweet fruits and earthy malts. Fruity taste with reminiscence of peaches added by mild tartness. Rather mealy. Cellar dry ending. Unusual (London, 23.11.2012).

330ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is peppery, piney hops, mango and icing sugar. Taste is peppery throughout, with a spicy finish.

330ml bottle. Pours a very hazy dark brown with a large head. Aroma is woody, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is oaky with vanilla to start. Vanilla, chocolate and bourbon on the finish. A bit too fizzy. The beer Innis & Gunn wishes it was.

Bottle from the Wild Beer Co guys @The White Horse Parsons Green. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is spice, dough, orange, tangerine, farmyard, sherbert and Parma Violets. The taste is dough, spice, earth, freshly baked farmhouse bread, tangerine and apricot with a very dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Good flavour and balance.

Bottle at The White Horse Old Ale Festival, London, courtesy of the Wild Beer guys. Pours cloudy yellow with a soft, white foam head. Lots of dry yeast character, although I did get the end of the bottle. There are notes of lemon and bubblegu, in here. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and fairly yeasty to finish, with some dough, gum and subtle fruits. Very nice.

Euston Tap. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Creamy malt and grain - lots and lots of grain! Maybe a little brett and fruit but it’s hard to tell with all this grain. Too grainy by far and a bit of a mess.
Tried a bottle and it had some hop but still way too much of that grainy vegetal taste.
