Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

44 cl can. Pitch black with a stable tanned head. Sweet aroma with coffee, chocolate, liquorice, and toasted bread. A good amount of bitterness. The taste is light sweet. Medium body, a bit muted due to the nitro part. Drying, roasted finish. Fine.

Appearance is black, opaque, a small beige head. Aroma- chocolate, vanilla, toffee, coffee, roast malt, tiramisu, chocolate torte. Taste is chocolate cake, vanilla, caramel, tonka, biscuity malt, espresso, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, whiskey fudge. Sweet and rich but not too heavy, wouldn’t guess it was 14%.

hazy yellow, small white head
strong grapefruity citrussy aroma, also a kind of weird herbal mouldy note, i've got no clear idea, gorgonzola cheese perhaps, or rotten milk. not super nice.. overall impression though is a strange sour beer with grapefruity hops sensation and it comes off much worse than it sounds. it's like.. not really sour beer aroma and not really hoppy grapefruity aroma, and i love both. the lacto is also in the way, doesn't fit in. bit of leather.

flavor works fine, sour beer, bit of leather, decent sour beer flavor with some oomph from grapefruity hops and perhaps grapefruit juice. nicely refreshingly sour and tart, nicely grapefruity in a good juicy way. in fact perhaps i can taste grapefruit juice more than fruity hops. balanced in a way that the awesome sour beer is not drowned out. quite amazing how different i react to aroma and to taste.

Can from Squires, Wokingham. Dark and glossy. Thick foamy beige head. Aroma has espresso with a sweetish sour berry edge. Underlying malts and sour milk. Flavourwise it's bitter with a sour edge, however it's watery with it. Light malts. Long aftertaste. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Attempts but fails to achieve bring creamy. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. If you didn't know it was AF you'd probably able to gues... it just doesn't taste quite right.

Flavour of Jaffa Cake, peach, lime and green mango with a nice bitter finish. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Bright and juicy. One if my go-to beers.
