Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour. Aroma of orange, citrus, fresh veggie hops, subtle yeast and tropical fruit. Taste has lots of orange zest, citrus, tropical fruit, veggie garlic and some yeast. Delicious mosaic beer.

Bottle at home. Black with tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, roasted hazlenut, blueberries, charcoal, vanillabean. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and fine carbonation. Velvety feel. The richness of the first sip melts quite quickly into a more watery experience, in the finish theres also a hint of mushroom or truffle.

14/IV/17 - 37.5cl bottle @ home - BB: X/2020 (2017-447) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear pitch black beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, not much else, some caramel maybe. MF: very lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet, lots of coffee, very roasted, nothing sugary nor any caramel and definitely not getting any almonds. Aftertaste: roasted, some coffee, roasted, little bitter, coffee, caramel touch, hoppy notes.

Clear pitch black beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very roasted, some charcoal, caramel, coffee. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body, velvety texture. Taste: wow, lovely smooth flavours! Pretty roasted, yet so very gentle, not harsh at all, soft caramel notes, slightly sweet. Aftertaste: sweet notes, bit sourish, very roasted, bit sugary. Very lovely porter/stout!

Bottle at a tasting. Very rich, intense, with light chilli-like coffee influence, loads of malty character, chocolate and roasty. Also light chilli heat in the finish. A very good beer.
