Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Bottle at home. Ver dark brown pour with a thin light-tan head. Notes of tonka beans, cocoa, cinnamon, roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel, toasted coconut, light vanilla. Medium to full body, roasty-bitter and caramel sweet finish. A good stout, but I do love tonka!

Bottle at home. Semi-hazy golden pour with a thin off-white head. Notes of citrus, light mandarines, papaya, unripe pineapple, followed by herbal and earthy notes in the post-taste. Bitter-sweet, medium body and carbonation, pretty juicy body. The second half of the bottle was a bit better - 100% hazy, more fruity, more juicy and flavoursome and less bitter. Another reminder to roll an IPA bottle/can on its side a bit, before opening.

Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, dark roasted malts. Taste malts, dark roasted malts, roast bitter. Don’t get any vanilla or coffee. Body isn’t as thick as I’d hoped. Must admit though, they set their own standard high. Solid beer, but the bar was set higher. -- Edit: leave it for a bit, then the coffee will come through and eventually even quite heavily. Nice, I like it more now. Up by 0.2.

Pours nearly black dark brown. Gusher. Big off whitebhead fades relatively fast. Smell is coffee, sour touch, bitter green coffee. Taste is sharp, green coffee, mild hitter, crunchy roasted malts. No sourness in the taste. Perhaps one of the most overcarbonated beers to date. How , how , HOW does this get all the love on facebook ? My third one of the brewery, all of them were not good at all...

Bottle @ Benzai, 10 cl sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of roasty malts and lots of alcoholic whisky. Im not familiar with all these whisky brands, but this one seems to give just a lot of alcohol and wood, without a lot of complexity.

Bottle @ Benzai, 10 cl sample. Dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of these weird tonka beans, that remind me of pistache, some vanilla sweetness and some roast. Tonka and chocolatey sweetness in taste, some roasty bitterness. Bit dry and powdery cacao in the finish. Bit thin in body. Decent, but not wow.

Bottle @ home. Fruit juice like murky yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, fruit juice, medium bitterness. Had higher hopes of more tropical fruit hops in this one, but even though it appears to be mosaic hop, it’s fruit juice instead of tropical fruit hop freshness. Maybe they intended fruit juice, but I would like it to more tropical fruity fresh hoppy. Ok beer.
