Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; dark brown pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has coffee, taste has chocolate, dark fruits and coffee.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Bright amber with a thin white top; sweet fruity aroma; sour orchard fruit taste; then a dry finish, pleasantly bitter and slightly metallic. A pleasant sour ale.

Cask at The Bell, Aldworth, 29th May 16. Pale yellow, aroma is hops, grapefruit, citrus. Nice flavour, grapefruit, light malts, refreshing, clean and very drinkable.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Loose Cannon Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, toffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coffee, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

[ As Loose Cannon India Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange - amber yellow color with a average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, butterscotch hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, fruity, butterscotch hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

Cask at the Royal Oak, Knowl Hill. Chestnut with a dense cream head; fruity aroma - cherries and red fruit; fruity taste with underlying well roasted malts; then a clean English hop bitterness followed by lingering biscuit. A well-made bitter, satisfying and easy drinking.

Cask at the Lyndhurst - Reading. Pours clear copper with a frothy, light khaki head. Mild bready malts in the nose, hints of butter and leaves, grains. Light sweet flavor with lightly toasted grainy bread, toffee accents, a little earth and leaf. Light bodied with fine carbonation; the condition is decent. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more simple, toasty malts, subtle leafy bitterness, a dash of toffee. Easygoing bitter.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence, 03/10/15. Golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is malty, light floral essence, tangerine, soft bread. Taste comprises biscuit malt, bitter orange, straw, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid golden bitter.
