75 cl. bottle shared with the group. Procured from ALBO. Dark brown with an okay beige head. Nose is iron, light malts, light chocolate & light plain brewed coffee, not the strongest of noses. Taste is bitter, pure brewed coffee, cold coffee in a good way, light mocha, bitter spices, light liquorish, sweet chocolate, some roast, agreeably bitter roasted coffee beans in the back, cacao, herbs,… Medium body – taste very much like cup of coffee in a good way. Mission accomplished one could say.

33 cl. bottle @ Hogerdijk tasting in Culemborg. Brown with a beige head. Cold coffee aroma and, regrettably, taste. The balance beer-coffee is lost a bit because this tastes a lot like someone spilled a cup of coffee in the beer. Not my kind of taste.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, and malt, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy amber with a frothy and lively off-white head. Subtle coffee aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and coffee, very little roast. Not much of a Stout! 270413

Bottle: Unclear, ruby-amber coloured, visible carbonation, floaties detectable, stable tanned layer, not too sweet toasty-caramelly nose, covering a well hidden fruitiness; light to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, barely full bodied; some bitter-malty traces in the toasty-yeasty finish. O.K.,but no great pleasure…

On tap at Fiere Margriet, Leuven. Porued a clear dark amber-brown body with an off white head. Fine malty, slightly spicey and fruity aroma with very light coffee. Umm.... I expected a huge coffee assault and it didn’t deliver, but there definitely is a certain presence. Nice, sweetish malty backbone. Bitter finish. Definitely pleasant stuff.
