Description
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, and we chose the brewhouse of our dreams that could help us make these wonders of fermentation.

Can from Waitrose, Bagshot. Aroma has watery coffee with a light sugary and citrus edge. Also tobacco but I am also getting weedy notes so that may be drifting over from a neighbour's garden. Clear amber. Thick foamy white head. Light sour. Citrusy. A coffee streak, which again is watery. Some sugariness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm. A sugary iced coffee. Would have preferred more cold brew bitterness. Drinkable but wouldn't impress The Descendents.

Saturday 27th April 2024, keg half-pint during an outing to Aberystwyth. Red hue to the amber body, off-white affair on top. Fairly sweet front to this, light hop bite, some fruitiness, liked it!

30/3/2024. Can shared with ITFCDan. From Stanford Arms, Lowestoft. Pours clear bright pale golden with a small frothy white head. Certainly looked the part. Aroma is citrus, malt, grains, flowers, slight caramel and nutty stewy edge. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness, just a touch metallic. Moderate body, light creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite likeable.

Can from Vino Wines. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of straw, white pepper and earth. Flavour of yeast, subtle spices and white bread. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. A tasty and interesting yeast-forward beer.
