Description
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, and we chose the brewhouse of our dreams that could help us make these wonders of fermentation.
We are a Living Wage employer. More information about the Living Wage Foundation can be found here: livingwage.org.uk

Keg @ The Bell Inn, Oswestry. Pours a clear deep gold, white head. Lovely toasted malt aroma. Flavour profile follows suit with a golden cereal malt character, clean refined presentation. Nicely done.

440ml can, one of my favourite annual collabs. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of pine, marmalade, orange and grapefruit, mildly herbal. Taste of orange, marmalade, pine, pale malts, mild herbal notes, good bitterness lingering nicely. Another great iteration.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester.mid-gold and clear with a smell to medium off-white head and a fair bit of lacing. Sugary, gummy, resinous aroma. Lots of honeyed sweetness in the taste, with only the slightest bitterness coming toward the finish. Light body, carbonation on the low side. Not a beer to get overly excited about but it's certainly solid enough.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 21st September 2024. Drank at my dad's home on 30th January 2024. Pale golden body, hazed with a short lived white head. Citrussy nose and taste, all a tad watery and weak in nature.

Alright. Got a bit of creamy earthiness about it if that makes any kind of sense.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy slightly greenish yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma, just some traces of continental hops. Hops are much more pronounced in the mouth where it is slightly sharp. Straw in the initial flavour too. Later on there is lemongrass and hints of tropical fruits, plus some slight bitterness which lasts into he finish. This is OK, but it feels like it’s lacking a certain something.
