Description
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, and we chose the brewhouse of our dreams that could help us make these wonders of fermentation.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a cloudy (but very slowly clearing) golden yellow with minimal off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has continental hops and alts. In the mouth it fluctuates between sweet and slightly bitter with a juicy texture. Flavour is hops and grains with traces of tropical fruit, bread rolls and alcoholic strength. Finish is slightly dry. This is decent enough but somewhat generic.

Can from :PROJEKT, with Hrabren and Ogi. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Jammy, malty, but funky and minerally, low orange notes. Lean, dry, emptyish taste, low maltiness, lightly tropical, lower still peach, lightly minerally and bitterish. Not bad, but already on its way out.

Can at home when I was supposed to be having a dry night. But it turned out the neighbours were coming round so this became the first stage of the wheels well and truly coming off. Good pour and tasty. But, it tastes like a good imitation of a best bitter.

On tap at the Bear, Paddington on 8th August 2025. Deep coppery brown with shallow, lasting pale tan foam affording scant lacing. Rich malty aroma. Rich and intense maltiness, nuttiness and orchard fruits in-mouth. A finish of fruitiness and luxuriant nutty malts. Smooth, solid mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Litt kort i avslutningen, desto lettere å helle innpå.
