Description
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, and we chose the brewhouse of our dreams that could help us make these wonders of fermentation.

Rerate, 440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.2%. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate aroma of piney and fruity hops. The flavour has a decent balance between the malts and hops. I'm upping the score a bit. Original rating: Shared 330 ml bottle. Dark reddish brown colour, off-white head. Moderate aroma, some fruity hops. Some lightly roast malts in the flavour, also fairly distinct piney hops.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 26.01.18. Dark chestnut. Small beige head and lacing. Fine aroma of American hops, citrus, grass, pine and medium dark malt. Taste of American hops, lemon, oranges, sorrel, pine and brittle. Medium bitterness is lingering on. Interesting and well-balanced.

Keg half @ House of Grain. Pours dark, well appointed foamy off white head. Aroma brings some roast, taste is roast, milk chocolate, dark malts, perhaps lacking nice woody charred elements for a baltic porter but a nice roasty dark ale all the same.

Keg at the Cock. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Nice light tartness, mild lemon and generic fruits. Trace of gueuzey wet wood. Pretty drinkable.

Lost & Co, Putney - on tap, pours a hazy pale lemon yellow colour with a small foamy white head. A grainy, yeasty aroma some light floral notes. A grainy taste, wheat and malt, some overipe fruit and spicy yeasty flavours and an earthy dryness in the finish. Not a lot of bitterness but a pleasant refreshing beer.
