Description
Lost and Grounded Brewers is a brewery in Bristol, UK, established in July 2016. We are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, and we chose the brewhouse of our dreams that could help us make these wonders of fermentation.

Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Sweet floral aroma - blossoms. Dark chestnut, with a ruby tint. Good thick beige head. L bitter. A sourness that grows in strength. Fruit, berries, herbs. Some sugary traces. Light bodied. Watery, with some spiciness to it. Lively carbonation. Abrupt finish. Never in your face, which in this case I’d say is a strength and not a weakness. Refreshing. A nice bite to it.

Keg @ Ply, Manchester. Pours a misty gold, small white head. Aroma is rich, hoppy. Taste is quite rich, fruity with aggressive citrus, bright bitterness, hefty malt presence, perhaps a little unbalanced. Not the best Lost & Grounded for me.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A bright but hazy straw-coloured pour with a loose white head and gentle carbonation; the aroma has traces of mango, spicy yeast and farmyard; the taste has zesty orange juice and chewy grains; before a drier fruity finish with a woody bitterness. Rather good.
