Copper beer with a thin head and a sour citrus aroma. After the scent the flavour was a touch sweeter than I expected with the bitter citrus balanced by a sweet, caramel-y flavour though it remains quite sharp on the tongue. It leaves a slightly airy, floral taste in the mouth afterwards. A crisp, decent beer.

330ml bottle from Alesela. Dark brown pour, no head. Burnt rubber aromas, not much else. Burnt toast maybe. Taste has a liquorice sweetness, burnt sugar, and just kinda lacks something. Light body, thin texture, Bitter burnt sugar finish. Not my kind of thing.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is pale malts, light toasted malt, citrus fruits, grass. Taste comprises grass, orange, summer fruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness. So so, can’t say I detected any whisky in this one!
