The brewery makes mostly ale and exports these throughout Essex, London, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Kent.[1] Many of the brewery's products are available to buy privately in different size plastic bladders up to keg size.

Bottle as I was waiting for the in-laws to arrive after a long day of driving children around. The name still had connections, well to me at least, with Robert Maxwell, but the quality of this beer soon took my mind in a more positive direction. A classic and flavoursome beer with malt and bitter hops all in a low abv. Just a good bitter.

Cask at Chelmsfaasarhd Beer Fest. A very light haze on this paleish gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy and semi dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Light malts, little caramel and cream. Thin dry pine. Modest ripe citrus fruits. Light and semi dry finish. The Mighty Oak beers at this fest taste a country mile from those available at the Maldon tap house. Either they don't travel, or Camra screw em up. Don't know!

17th July 2024
Cask at Chelmsfaasarhd Beer Fest. Clear amber beer, small but tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy and semi dry palate, very slightly thin. Mild caramel malts, not sweet. Light and semi dry pine into a floral bitterish ripe fruit array. Light and semi dry finish leaves a bitter linger. Fine. Does what it needs to.
