Clear gold beer with a tidy white head. Light dry palate, medium carbonation. A brief note of sweet tangerine is quickly swamped by astringent bitterness - too much so. Dry finish. Too bitter and dry by far.

Cask at Ales & Tails, Twickenham, 16/02/13. Clear pale golden with a thin bubbly white head that retains well. Nose carries citrus, hops, grass, orange, light grapefruit. Taste comprises pine, hops, grapefruit, citrus. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Decent drop.

Cask @ Gallows Bird, real ale festival. Pale golden, frothy head. Nutty, light smokey, fruitu aroma. Flavor has watermelon, citrus, malt. Dry, bitter finish. Good body for this abv.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival ’13) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was small, sparse and white. Aroma had sweetness and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, grain, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Aroma was very mild but the tastewas pleasantly good.

500ml bottle. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma is salty liquorice and mild smoke. Taste has light smoked ham to start and dark berries in the finish. Flat as a witches tit.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, strawberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120502]

Cask at The Angel, Manchester. 5.Jul.2012 Rusty clear body, spare creamy head. Citrus, ginger, malt, but not very strong aroma. The taste is like a shot though. Ginger and chilli. Absolutely interesting, but the chilli is too overwhelming. Great beer if you caught a cold or have a sore throat. Proves that there is a beer for every occasion!
