Bottle. A slight gushing one, but just a centiliter at max. Hazy, golden body and a very short-lived white head. The aroma feels lightly alcoholic, with fruit-sugary sweetness, tart apples and some apple cores. It’s fizzy and full-bodied, semi-sweet, and with flavors of apples, fruit-sugar and some grass and apple cores. Lasting sweet apple finish. A nice one for the alcohol level, but a bit too sweet I think. 140622

0.33l bottle. This is a light cloudy or perhaps more deep blurry yellowish looking one and it also has a somewhat surprising lasting white head. Actually when popping the cap the head wanted out. Not often I get that in a cider. It smells nice with a good amount of surprising lemons and yellow/green apples. Soft dusky as well with hints of red berries like rasp and strawberries. Hmm.. Quite unlike any other cider I've nosed. In the mouth it has a nice apply flavor. Somewhat mouthdrying and even a little bit of dust? More refreshing lemons, but it also has a strong apply sweetness. It easy to drink and not bad tasting at all. The astringent mouthdrying feeling on the tongue is somewhat disturbing the total score a bit, but this is a cider I will definitely consider recommending this to my cider drinking friends. 01.02.2014

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a bubbly, white head. Fruity aroma with apples, wood, rather alcohol dense, sulphur. Quite a lot of sulphur, actually. Taste is light sweet. Finishes drying with fruits and a sulphur note. Odd.

750 ml bottle. Slightly foggy golden body with some floaters at the bottom of the bottle. No carbonation. Aroma is mostly apples with a hint of cellar notes and yeast. Flavor is ripe apples with a hint of yeast. Feels both sweet and dry with a dry finish. Mild acidity. Medium body and decent, quite dry aftertaste. Quite rustic apple cider, good apple flavor and not much sulfur. Not a lot of things going on here, but sometimes the apples are good enough and basically that’s what a cider is all about. It was just easy to finish the bottle.

Big fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is strange sweet fruity, almost a little artificial alcopop-ish, apple winegum candy, canned fruits syrup, hints of yeast. Taste is slightly sweet artificial apples, apple skin, sorrel, hay, yeast. Mild acidity, slightly dry mouthfeel. As an alternative to the sweet artificial alcopop-ciders, this is kind of nice. Apart from that, it’s pretty boring.
