Description
Note that the Thornbridge Hall series (largely one off and specials circa 2010-15) deliberately carry the Thornbridge name in their title.

Innovation Passion and Knowledge in all we do - and to have some fun along the way. The Thornbridge story began back in 2005 when the founders Jim Harrison and Simon Webster recruited two young brewers to brew on a second hand 10-barrel kit in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall. Soon demand outstripped supply and the need for a new Brewery became clear. In 2009 a brand new state of the art brewery was built at Riverside, Bakewell to meet with demand and allow Thornbridge to develop their range of beers.

Brewing still takes place today on the original kit at Thornbridge Hall, which allows us to experiment with new brews, create bespoke Hall brews, collaborations and assist the main brewery in Bakewell.

440ml can from Morrisons - clear golden body with a thin white head. Mango nose, pretty pleasant fruity vibe, more in the sweet lemon style than tropical. Good balanced beer, but preferred the Mango Halcyon.

Pours fairly clear, dark amberbrown. mediul sized, very stable, white head. Scent is nice, full maltyness, bit earthy hops. Taste is full, malty, medium bitter (which is higher than usual for the style). Easy drinkable. Mild body, medium to medium high carbo. Lovely.

Pale gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a sweet citrus fruit aroma. Smooth and a touch creamy, sweet and fruity with some floral hop character, a little kick, some bitterness and a dry bittersweet finish.

Cask at the Wild Swan, Holborn, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit action. An OK pale ale from Thornbridge.

Flew back in from San Francisco and as this was in the cellar, well why not! And i think this is a rare miss from Thornbridge. Not much going on and a bit like a pimped up lager.
