Description
We're a free-thinking craft cider company that doesn't like being constrained. In fact we only like making craft ciders as naturally and as simply as possible - using the very best fresh apples, small batch techniques, wild yeasts and 100% juice. The resulting ciders are full of depth, character and as near to perfection as we can get them

On tap (BIB) at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden aber with minimal head. The aroma is sweet apples with some floral hints. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with a creamy texture. The flavour is pressed apples with hints of crunchy peel. Later on there is a little bitterness with tannins leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable, but a bit too sweet for me.

13/4/2024. From BIAB at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours hazy pale gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is sweet pulpy apples, sugary stewed apple, slight woody barnyard edge. Very sweet with minimal tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Sweet, lightly drying, slightly tannic finish. Very sweet but quite liked it.

BIB@Bree Louise. Slightly hazy golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is sweet apples, mild toffeeish sweetness with some ripe apples too. Flavour is apple sweetness with mild tartness with some rather dry wooden tones (acting like tannins). Pleasantly dry.

BIAB at Ciderdog 2023, Miller, London. Golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of apple, straw, funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, funk, tangy, with bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry finish. Nicely drinkable

On tap at The Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out gentle farmhouse funk, apple core, and gentle sweetness. Flavour is medium sweet and fairly funky, with apple core, wild yeast and sweet apple skins. Fairly dry, lots of apple core on the finish. Pleasant.

Straw colour with light haze and no head. Tart aroma, almost like apple vinegar. Taste is somewhat milder. Very soft mouthfeel. Gentle sweetness. Overall taste is mild compared to the quite intense aroma.

Very pale colour almost like a hazy champagne. Aroma has a little funky farmyard. Tastes sweet to start with but dries out in the finish. Light tannins.

Pale yellow colour with a light haze. Nice aroma with some initial funk although this mellows as the cider breathes in the glass. Straw, hay and a soft sweetness that is quite like that of a typical red apple. The tannins come through well adding some dryness and a slightly bitter edge. Very good.
