In fact we only like making craft ciders as naturally and as simply as possible - using the very best fresh apples, small batch techniques, wild yeasts and 100% juice. Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Quite low carbonation. Aromas of sharp, slightly funky apples. Taste is dry, sweet apple notes too. Good.

Bottle from the Shops at Dartington. Appearance - bright golden. The very odd bubble. Nose - tangy sour apples pears with lightly funk because of the yeast. Taste - tangy, dry, apple and pears. Palate - light to medium bodied, then dry and tangy through middle and finish. Overall - good dry perry.

Bottle from the Shops at Dartington. Appearance - cloudy orange. Gentle bit steady bubbles. No head. Nose - dry tangy apples and apple skin. Taste - dry apple skin. Then sour apples. Palate - tangy and close to medium bodied. Very dry finish. The Overall - good traditional style.

Bladder bag at the Stable, Bingoham - scoping ciders with the old man, 02/08/19. Lightly hazed golden pour. Nose is pulped apples, funk, damp hay, lightly smoked straw. Taste comprises apple skin. straw, farmyard tones, earthy, orchard wood, tannins. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent funky edge to this one.

500ml bottle from Perry's Cider Farm. Probably the same as the premium vintage bottle. Pours gold with a light mist. Aroma is rich apple fruit, orchard must. Taste is rich, golden with good vibrant apple fruit, nice fleshy side, subtle tannic bite. Very good.

Draught @ Perry's Cider Farm, Ilminster. Pours pale yellow, bright sour nose which continues to taste, good rich sweet character, not too complex, fairly straightforward with a nice apple fruit character.

Draught @ Perry's Cider farm, Ilminster. Pours pale, light apple fruit on the nose. Taste is clean medium sweet, no discernible tannin or astringency, good prominent sweetness. Straightforward medium, not bad.
