Bottle at home, 01/04/18. Lightly hazed golden with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is sharp apple, toffee apple, light wood, caramel. Taste comprises toffee apple, syrup, tangy apple skin, Orchard wood, light farmy notes. Medium bodied with bite, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad but expected more having enjoyed another cider from them yesterday to a higher degree.

On tap at Hawkes Taproom Bermondsey. Stewed bramley apple and custard flavour. Some sweetness with a slight dryness on the finish. It's soft in the mouth. Stewed apple flavour. Ok. Decent character. Some tannins attacking the gums.

Draught at Euston Tap East Lodge. It pours clear deep golden with a tiny white head. The aroma is earthy, musty, funky, barnyard, tangy apple, grape, must and hay. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, oily, juicy, fruity, soft berries, jammy almost, white grape, bit of tannin, earth and kick of booze with a slick finish. Medium body, flat and oily mouth - feel. Nice fruity farmyard cider. Quaffable.

Bottle bought online in Japan. D/b May 2019. Tannic nose with frah and baked apples, some caramel and spices. Deep orange. Cloudy, with lace. Nice rich apple with some sweetness, lots of tannins too. Really not all that sweet overall. Some sharpness as well. Full body, light carbonation. Nice.

Bottle bought online in Japan. D/b May 2019. Rich apple nose, baked apple, light chalk, quite a bit of tannin. Deep gold with lace. Dry and tannic, a bit puckery, apples, skin, minerals. Much drier than the Barn Owl, a lot more tannic, not so tart. Nice stuff, a bit drier than I like, lots of tannin, but a nice apple flavor too. Very light carbonation.
