Bottle from their last & very abrupt cider club shipment. Wine glass @home. Slightly hazy, glowing pale gold, faintly soda brew. Nose is heavy clay, fusels, trash & savory bitter melon. Taste is a compact mess of yeast, white grape skins & earth. Mostly clean initially, with a sharp delivery. Mellow melon, lime, trash, pickled veggies, white wine, yeasty remnants. Homebrew-esque is a bad label, but it is so very iffy & experimental. Cake-y, yeasty, well carbed, brutal acidity, good feel on the abv, lackadaisical show of it all. Not there yet. Sad they quit.

750ml bottle from their last cider club shipment. Focusing on making money instead. Duvel glass. Opaque, pale gold, lacy. Danky, very green, alfalfa, pineapple juice. Pretty damn dank. Dank + tart & dry apple juice. Earth + cut grass, lime, bitter greens, green tea. Pure hop juice + acidic cider. Thin, grassy, diluted, okay carb, soapy. Too grassy to be great. No age. Okay.

Can at home after a day of biking and pool. Deep gold. Few bubbles. Nose is appley, touch of oak, and maple. Tastes the same. Maple is a kiss. Light booze. Rich apple.

Bottle from their cider club. Tasty Beverage thin pint glass @home. Voluminous pale pink head, odd pink on purple cloudy body. More like lilac in color actually. Smell is roasted grapes, sour apple, vinegar, grape bubblegum. Taste is earthy, sour, deep, middling tannic, concord-like grapes mashed with very tart & wild apples. Sour vinegar middle, iodine, glue, tiny itty bitty bit of funk, super sharp & sour finish. I really think the grapes propped this one up. They've made better hybrids, but this combo makes a good team. Sparkly, irritating carbonation that is inconsistent & drops off. Thick slurry of yeast, thin actual body, borderline amount of vinegar. Very acidic, boozy for only 7.6%. Okay.

750ml bottle from their cider club. Regular format should be canned I believe. Lo-ball glass @home. Clear, filtered, deep metallic gold & bubbly. Tart apple, pith, long bittersweet nose. Not very strong though. Clean, bittersweet, sharp, citrus-y, rounded whiskey, lingering malic acid, & a dry malt character, but no obvious maple. Semi-sweet. No distilled flavors in this one. They've been doing that lately. Missing that last note to make it memorable. Texture is thin but slick, I'm guessing because of the syrup. I was expecting more of a honey feel. Very acidic, but the sharp edges smooth out. Burns in my stomach though. Boozier than anticipated. Sulfites play nice. Probably feel it later. Surprisingly good.

Bottle from their cider club. Three weeks in the fridge. Maybe it settled some. Lo-ball glass @home. A hazy, still, orange on yellow brew. Big, offensive, plastic/polymer/rubber off gas & Play-Doh smell. Breathe baby breathe. It neutralizes somewhat with time, but that sucked. With ample time, sweet & savory orange flavors flush a bit of wild & yeasty notes. The rubber is so obvious even in the flavor though. It does not fully disappear. Yeasty, juicy, approachable abv. Just an ugly batch. Will check back in a couple years.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear, bright golden pour, fine ring of white foam. Aroma is apples, light tartness, hefty presence of whiskey and some caramel. Taste is tart, woody, caramel, apples, bourbon notes more subtle than in the aroma.

Bottle from their very reasonable cellar club. Cheapo, stemless, 6-pack from TJmax for 7.99 glass. Big, fizzy, pink head. Maroon, hazy, yet settled, rich, red wine. Smell is wild-fermented grapes, chokeberry, sharp crab apples, cranberry, astringent weeds as you pull them out with hate. Flavor is massively tannic, bold, tart, macerated skin & apple cores. Bitter, sharp, some funk but more just green, earthy, raw & uncultured. Finish is jammy with lots of cotton mouth. Frothy, thin, boozy, a numbing slap in the face. Basement wine with attitude. Great.

Bottle from their cider club. They also shipped a n/a botanical soda without an optional substitution so this one better be good. New Belgium goblet @home. Frothy, lingering lace over a raspberry iced tea-looking brew. TBD nose, as it's quite cold. ...Soft earthy grapes, orange & wild fermented cider so far. Pleasant acidity, sour cherry candy, lemon, lingering wild & bitter apples, leaves, okay tannins, faint oxidation. Little bit of a drop off in flavor from front to back. Crispy, but only faintly tart, mostly clean, relatively easy abv. First one of these that came out exceptionally well in a minute. Cheers.
