@home poured into a shaker. Spicy nose. Clear pale golden colour, small frothy white head, diminishing slowly, light lacing. Aroma ginger, laos (galanga), lemon grass (jeruk purut), citrus. Taste light sweet and bitter, grainy, lemon grass, ginger, laos. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation, mild dry sweetbitter aftertaste, pepper and ginger, chalky notes, easy to drink, good balance, very nice.

Du Garam Masala dans une bière, ce n'était pas gagné...Et d'ailleurs le nez ne mettait pas en confiance avec des arômes d'épices pas forcément bien intégrés à ceux de candy, raisin et d'alcool. Heureusement en bouche l'ensemble fonctionne bien mieux, avec en complément du caramel, candy et de l'alcool, une touche pimentée et des arômes de cannelle qui enrichissent bien la ligne aromatique. Le Palo Santo quant à lui se fait peu ressentir. Concernant la structure, nous sommes entre une quad et un Barley Wine. En effet, nous avons à la fois un alcool à 11 % vif, brillant, et très structurant mais également une base maltée riche et dense dont la douceur est d'ailleurs bien contrebalancée par l'alcool. L'amertume à 28 EBU est peu prononcée. Le visuel sur un brun sans mousse n'amène pas à des commentaires particuliers. Belle bière, riche et tonique.

Strong medicinal nose. Slightly hazy medium amber colour, tall moussy off-white head, half-way lacing, adhesive foam, heavy lacing. Aroma toasted malt, spices of the season: anise, cloves, cinnamon, liquorice root. Taste medium sweet and bitter, toasted malt, spices, liquorice, earthy notes, retronasal spiciness. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, spices come back in a coarse way in the finish, interesting brew, not well-balanced, not easy to drink.

Donkerbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is vol en licht bitterzoet met iets van karamel, toffee en wat noten. Voor mij een van de betere bock bieren.

Piwo ma waniliowej barwy spora i trwala barwe, poczatkowo jest piwo barwy czerwonej ale zmetnia sie do koloru ciemno brazowego. W aromacie pierniki korzenne i czekolada gozka, w smaku wytrawne gozkie z dlugim posmakiem goryczki, nieco czekolady w tle i kakao. Dobre i plus za fajna stylistyke etykiety.
