12oz bottle. Nice to see something cool from Furthermore. Interesting balance between the tropical hops and the smoked malts. Clean toasty malt base. Filtered orange-tan body. The smoke is steady, but never comes across sticky or heavy. Quite a nice beer, cool addition to the WI beer landscape.

(5.4.2011) --> Noten: 12,6,10,3,1,6 - 6,50

$2 single from Lemon Tree. Smell has some roast malt and a touch of coffee, but also something metallic, like a rinsed glass (no, this glass was cleaned some time ago. A darker Vienna lager color, always a surprise to find a coffee or chocolate beer that isn’t pitch black. Taste comes in equal parts light roast coffee, and a fizzy beer. Certainly a unique combination, and I give it props for that. This could be the basis of a fine coffee soda, with malt instead of sugar, yes?

Lightly hazy copper - frothy lace - nose of toasted grains, light mineral, lightly earthy malt, mildly leafy hops - flavor is dry, biscuity, toasty, with a mild touch of buttered toast - low carbonation - toasty finish with light mineral - decent - would like to try on cask.
