Description
Timmermans has kept the tradition of the true lambic alive for over 300 years now. This unique beer, made with 30% wheat, is brewed in Itterbeek, in the oldest active lambic brewery. At its origin is a miracle: micro-organisms in the air of the Senne valley end up in the wort and cause spontaneous fermentation. This is why a true lambic is brewed only within a 15 km radius of Brussels, in the area known as Pajottenland. Since 1993, Martin’s Finest Beer Selection has been proud to preserve this authentic part of Belgium’s beer heritage.

Fruity artificial cherries, fruity mild back. Sessionable, hints of pepper far far in the back, not too sweetish cherries in the finish with not much beer behind. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lambicus Kriek Black Pepper on 31 Mar 2024 at 22:49 - Score: 5.

Joodav limonaad.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A dark brown beer, clear, with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Fruity aroma, both fresh and dried fruit, some funk and a oaked, oxidized touch. It's medium bodied, semi-sour, and softly carbonated, with a mostly fruity, berryish flavor. Some roasted and lemony hints. Lasting finish. A strange one, a bit dull, but sort of interesting. 240224
