Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - opaque black with a nice fluffy head. Nose - creamy chocolate and nuts. Taste - creamy milk chocolate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly elegant finish. Overall - a decent stout. There’s a slight tangy Belgian yeast edge to it.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. 8%. Pours hazy pale gold, yeast lumps, bubbly white head. Aromas of spice, sweet malt, banana, yeast zing. Taste is more of the same, heavier on the spice and yeast. Faint sweetness, white sugar thing lurking around. Dry finish though. Nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. This version was 8%. Appearance - golden, clear and bright. Nice head. Nose - banana, clove. Light orange tang. Taste - more of the same. A little sweet. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture but it finishes a little thin and sweet at the same. Overall - one of my favourite styles but this one lacks texture and that tangy bitter finish.
