Draught at KØ15. Fruity aroma, roasted, smoke? Clear dark brown colour, almost black. Very big stable creamy light brown head. Watery and citric flavour.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Bitter, roasted, dark malty and breadish. Liqourice and breadish. Dry and roasted finish.

Bottle courtesy of Geraint and Helen (cheers you two ?) consumed at home Thursday 21st May 2015 Very yeasty with banana notes and in mouth, Loz thought it was edging towards a Saison l, I didn?t I thought this was bang on the nose for a triple, nice, spicy, smooth, really good triple. Bouteille 33cl, merci Max. Dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme est houblonné noble portant un fruité citronné et fleuri. Bouquet garde des notes très belges dans l’approche de la levure sans pour cela en obtenir le côté rustique hennuyer. Palais reste, ici aussi, très belge et sans vraiment être transcendent cette bière parvient à procurer une bonne alliance malts et houblons. Retrouve un profil très noble avec un fini carapils. Simple, efficace, mais on attend plus côté innovation.

Thanks to sebletitje! 330 ml. bottle sampled @Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is soapy, yeasty, artificial lemon, fizzy & sweet on top. Taste is lots of sweet soap, cheap candy, thin sugar, lots of esters, artificial lemon,… Grainy body. Missing balance in my opinion, these flavours aren’t for me. Acceptable I suppose.

Keg at La Porte Noire, Brussels. It pours golden with a touch of haze and a medium white head. The nose is juicy, grass, floral, orange muffin, sherbet and candied peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, grass, dough, cracker, orange peel, honey and pine nuts with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation pretty alright.

Clear pale blond beer, big fluffy aery irregular head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, spicy, coriander, peppery, bit grassy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, malty, some marzipan, coriander. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, alcohol, sweet, bit sugary, coriander, more alcohol.

Clear pale yellow to blond beer, aery irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, melons, bit yeasty, citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, bit sweet, yeast, banana touch, pretty bitter, grassy. Aftertaste: fruity, pretty bitter, grassy, more bitterness.

Pale yellow colour. Quite a funky and yeasty aroma. Tangy and spicy taste. Brett style.
