Pale, amber, slight haze. Not much head. Tart raspberry aroma, juicy, good berry, full body, pretty good.

This is 2024, but it's the same every year, right. Hazy and pale, thin head. The usual pear and coriander nose, light plastic phenols, the palate is similar, with a splash of alcohol in the finish. As usual this beer is released before the brett really has a chance to do its thing.,

Hazy, amber, but dull. Fuck me you know I love that smokey nose…it’s not even a mezcal smoke, more like hickory or mesquite. On the palate the smoke is bright and everything else is kind of murky…maybe orange, some sticky sort of malts, yeastiness. The smoke does linger throughout.,

Dullish pale, thick head. Tart, some vague sense of bugs but neither the brett nor the botrytis stand out…the base malt is okay, not as bright as their usual excellence. I am wondering if sauternes barrel blonde might be a better call, given the cleaner profile of the base.

Hazy and pale. Thick head. Fruity, light brett, salmonberry and pear, good pale malt base. Drinks easy, refreshing, leafy hop. Modest bitterness, more farmhouse than IPA.

Dull and hazy, thin head. Big syrupy barrel nose, full malty body, decent bitterness. Some rich sugars from the barrel…well this is the first time I’ve had a beer aged in Okanagan Spirits barrels that wasn’t a hot boozy mess…Dag can do anything.

Quite pale. Didn't pour with any head. Aroma is herbaceous hop and light saisony yeast accents. On the palate, there's some pale malt in there as well, along with more saison yeast notes. It's good body for 2.4%, and I really like the fruit hop accents. Decent bitterness.

On tap at Dageraad, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma has plenty of oats, medium roasted malt, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is old school, with cocoa, medium roasted malt, sugars, and a touch of coffee. Sweeter than expected, but the roasted character is real nice. Not overly complex but surprisingly drinkable for the gravity. Good stuff.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some dankness, citrusy hops, light pine, and juicy stone fruits. Flavour is very citrusy, with bitter grapefruit peel, citrusy hops, and underripe green melon. Bitter, citrusy finish, but not the most invigorating hop expression. It’s alright.

200mL pour at the taproom. Pours black with a tan head. Toasted malts on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts and dark chocolate, a bit sweeter than expected and not as roasty; dryish finish. Palate is a bit syrupy on the way out. Enjoyable, but a bit disappointing.
