Forgotten backlog. A fine, classic old school IPA. A solid malt base with hint of caramel in combination with refreshing, citric fruity hops, some resin and pleasant, decent bitterness. I'm normally sceptical to LITE versions, but this one is surprisingly close to the regular IPA from nøgne, of course difficult to compare without having them side by side, but this one ticks off all blocks for a nice, classic IPA the way Nøgne use to do them from the very start.

Bottle @ Herøya. Dark brown body under a small dense beige head. Aroma has mild roasted dark malt, liquorice, wood and dry fruit. Taste has a fine balance between sweetness and alcohol, a bit vinous with dark malt, dry fruit, liquorice and wood. Fine body with ling lasting aftertaste. A fine, strong beer with balanse and complexity.

Well stored bottle @ Herøya. Slightly unclear golden body under a small, quickly disappearing white head. Nice, funky aroma of citric fruits, apricot and wood with a hint of vinegar. Taste is soft and smooth with peaches, apricot, sour grapes, some vinegar, wood, smooth funk and mild acidity. Fine balance in taste, acidity and body. A few years in the cellar has been god to this.

Almost black colour with small beige head.Aroma of wood and dark dried fruit hint of roasted caramel and barrel nice smooth and warming mouth feels good and well balanced finish.

From Amstein, drinking it yesterday, at the Balcony after the day of our neighgbourgh party on saturday after some bitburgers. This one is correct, malty, a bit dry and crispy, mineral, touch of pineapple and passion fruit, citrus, floral, good.
