Hazy amber, low off-white creamy head. Piney citric and grassy aroma. Medium body. Fruity base, some hops, citric aftertaste. To some degrees seems to be oriented towards a english IPA.

Biggish brown head. Nearly opaque dark brown body. Roasty coffeeish aroma with hoppy oily rye notes. Dry-sweetish taste, with an acidic edge, of burnt sooty rye with vaguely citric hop notes. Very harmonic and balanced. Full-bodied. Soft mouthfeel. Dry delicate burnt aftertaste with grainy chocolatey notes. Burnt notes linger. Very, very good and highly drinkable. Grew on me as I drank. (0.5l bottle, Wine monopoly, Oslo.)

Offwhite, coarse medium head of quickly shrinking foam over slightly hazy light red-brown body. Aroma of lightly roasted malts with notes of wood and traces of citrusy hops. Sourish, oily taste of bitterness. Not that much taste; essentially dominated by the citrusy hops. Lacking in body. Dry aftertaste. Not really up to usual NØ standard.

Dark reddish brown colour, Small tan head. Very spicy aroma. Ginger, clove, cinnamon. Spicy bitter flavour. Ginger, clove and cinnamon. The aftertaste is a little bitter and hints of the spices. A little strange beer but very drinkable.

Deep redish brown colour. Rich head. Spicy (ginger) aroma. Very spicy flavour but hops turns out to be the winner in the spice race.

Colour is black as Christmas night. Pale brown, rich head. Vanilla and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is very roasted with notes of vanilla, but the thing that makes my taste buds going is the long, lingering hop bitterness. An unusual but very tasty Porter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Aged sample. Unclear amber golden with a tall, dissipating head. Heavy carbonation. Lovely fruity esters - oddly I sense some banana, when the style is Belgian Wit. Lightly sweet malt with notes of coriander. Pleasant all right but comes closer to a Belgian Blond Ale (probably due to it’s age). Thanks to Yngvar for this rare gem. 271105

Batch 96 - 2004. Deep brown/red - almost black. Brownish head that soon disppears. Lot of taste: Fruity, a bit spicy leaving a good, roasted malty aftertaste - that lasts. And the sedimentation: It’s mud - nicly clinging to the bottom. KI=6
