Bottle. A creamy, off-white head forms over a lightly hazy dark golden body. The aroma has some citrus peel and pine cones, with the maltyness in the far back. Medium to full body with a pleasant carbonation level, and it’s semi-dry. Quite bitter on the palate. The flavor has a caramel malty backbone with a pleasant bitterness. Citrus peel and pine cones. Lasting finish. A pretty decent one, but I’m not impressed. 140315

50cl bottle, bottled on Nov-13. #0038. Amber colored, thin white head. Tropical fruits, pine, biscuity and some woody notes. Taste is hoppy, sweet, could be the honey. Mouthfeel is creamy, very smooth. Finish is bitter and fruity with noticeable kiwi notes. Nz hops? Honey makes this beer round, takes the edges of the bitterness without loosing the flavors. Lovely.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, copper colour. Thick, bubbly, white head. Thick, sweet malt. Gingery spice. Pink grapefruit. Taste is sweet and juicy, initially, then the juicy bitterness takes hold. A biscuit chew in the mouth. Grapefruit bitter finish. Very quaffable.

330ml bottle from The Bottle Shop. Hazy orangey-brown colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel nicely balanced against citrusy & woody pine hop resin bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, warming dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg @ The Cock Tavern. Fresh tasting IPA with a zesty aroma, big fruity citric taste and a nice sweet, lingering bitterness. More great stuff from Weird Beard.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14, acquired from Sourced Market. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white bubbly covering. Nose is a little plasticy, bitter tropicals, grapefruit, pine. Taste improves comprising eatthy hops, mineral bite, bitter grapefruit, light booze, sweet tones . Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, semi drying close, light boozey notes evident. Ok but a little lopsided, the plastic nose didn’t get me off to a good start with this one!
