Medium offwhite lasting frothy head over deep hazy yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Citric, smoky hop aroma with notes of tea. Taste is chewy citric tea with dryish aftertaste. Slightly chemical notes in the aftertaste. Quite good. (0.5l bottle served too cold, but gave it a long wait.)

Big dark brown frothy lasting head. Seemingly opaque black body, but dark red at edges. Light, acidic harmonic aroma of wild berries and coffee with dryish, dusty notes. Taste is deep acidic coffee with dry, burnt toast aftertaste. Very harmonic. Notes of wild berries and licorice. Lingering burnt chocolate taste. A very good stout, if not perhaps altogether spell-binding. (0.5l bottle.)

660ml bottle from Asda. Crystal clear copper/amber colour, lasting thick beige head. Some hop, some caramel on this standard bitter, bit of boiled sweet too. Some citrus hops which are a bit earthy and very English. OK standard bitter.

500 ml brown bottle, "thrice hopped", courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, with a slight haziness (due to cold temperature?), moderate head. Nice hoppy / grapefruity aroma. Pleasant hoppy / grapefruity flavour too, spritzy mouthfeel. Distinctly bitter finish / long aftertaste. Not bad!

Pour is a dark gold with a small white head, Aroma is hard to detect but there are some malts present. Pale lagerish is how i would describe it. Flavor is a little better, sweet malts and small amount of hops show up. Touch up the hops and you may have something here. Finish is dry and bitter. Nothing really great from a lackluster brewer.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Deep golden colour, moderate head, leaves a nice lacing. Pleasant nutty and moderately hoppy aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Flavour has decent hops throughout, hints of burnt caramel but the beer is not sweet (fairly dry, actually). Not a bad beer this one.

660 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.2%. Deep golden colour, large to moderate lasting head. Moderate but pleasant hoppy aroma (Styrian Goldings), hints of toffee. Decent hops, toffee, walnuts and some fruity sweetness in the flavour. Moderate hops in the finish, I’d like some more "bite" there. Mouthfeel is maybe a bit thin? A drinkable beer, but not "big" enough in any way to deserve the name "Goliath".

(500 ml bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Slightly shady golden color, white head. Fruity acid and bitter hoppy scent. Spicy and bitter taste. A bit sweet aftertaste. Higher/better than "normal" mouthfeel.

Bottled(500ml). –Pours a deep black coloured with medium brown head and licorice nose. Roasted malty, bitter chocolate and strong coffee aroma with notes of toffee and licorice. Bitter finish and long lasting coffeeish aftertaste. Underrated in my opinion.
