Bouteille 33cl. Merci Pierre T. Brune foncée, col léger crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet malté caramel, pâle, pointe de cacao judicieusement placée avec un rétro salin apportant une touche plaisant de minéral. Palais reste centré sur le malté et cela même à 4.5% on retrouve un malté vraiment bien dosé qui apporte une belle complexité à ce stout. Le tout verse plus vers le caramel, grillé et ponctuée par l’ajout de poudre de cacao. Le sel ajoute un côté maritime salin très plaisant qui se mélangé bien aux malts.

Bouteille(Merci, le professeur!): deep golden, a bit unclear, small and stable creamy white head; exotic fruits and traces of cough-syrup in the drier bitter-malty nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, not very soft; lingering poney and fruity-exotic finish, hops stickin’ to the tongue. Borefts 2014. Almost black with small beige head.Rhhaaaas’b’rries, quite sour and roasted sweet backbone, but very watery. Backlog from 2014/09/27.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Pale citrus golden, bubbles. Nose is citrus lemon hops, zest, quite juicy. Taste is floral, lemon, juicy hops, dash too yeast, less expressive than my deScription sounds, felt a bit muted. Body is juicy hops & yeast, decent but I feel like it could have more expressive.

Nose is wow, iodine, huge peat, salt, mineral, light chocolate in the back but mainly huge peat; Taste is peat, charcoal, charred earth, medicinal, iodine, scorched earth, black chocolate. Thick malt, creamy,… Well-done but too peated for me to fully embrace.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Coffee black with little head. Nose is faintly sour mocha, caramel, chocolate, light vinous & touch lactic note, light vanilla. Taste is lightly vinous caramel, sour coffee, candy, sugar, coffee, coffee, grounds, chocolate,… Body is lightly sour coffee. Overall, sweetness is the main thing here, chocolate & sweet coffe, caramel, sour & vinous qualities are low. Quite nice, surprised that this beer actually works but it does. Neat.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Black with a substantial mocha head. Nose is interesting, condensed milk, caramel, cacao, faint mineral note. Taste is caramel, condensed milk, sugar, candy, chocolate, faint mineral / salty note in the back. Touch thin but overall I think oddly this one really worked. Nice work.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Hazy citrus. Nose is weird spoiled lactic milky strawberry, hay, very lactic, odd,… Taste is mineral, touch salty even, light spoiled strawberry in the finish, dash lactic, quite oddly empty & bland in the middle, simple & bit lacking in taste. You also get some cheese nots. Body is basic cheese, watery,… Weird but I am oddly close to liking it.
