Bottle. From Trader Joe’s. Actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Dark gold color, giant head. Aroma was a mild hoppy smell and the taste was citrusy and piney.

Bue à la pression au Grenadier, à Londres. Robe blonde hazy, mousse crémeuse et bien formée, belle présentation. Nez sur les fruits exotiques, mangue et passion en tête. En bouche, texture douce et juteuse, très fruitée, presque comme un jus tropical. Facile à boire, mais l’amertume passe au second plan. Manque un peu de mordant pour une IPA, mais l’ensemble reste plaisant. Sympa !

Bue à la pression au Grenadier, à Londres. Robe dorée tirant sur l’ambré, peu engageante. Nez discret, légère touche maltée. En bouche, une bière douce, maltée, avec une pointe sucrée qui alourdit l’ensemble. Manque de fraîcheur, d’amertume et d’aromatique : loin de ce qu’on attend d’une IPA. Finale plate, sans relief. Décevant.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a dense white head; artificial cherry aroma; overpowering cherry flavouring on a light biscuity malt base giving an unpleasant acidity and sweetness to the finish. I won’t be having another.
