Tap at the Ipswich Town fanzone. Aroma of grain, malts and a bit of citrus. Very smooth but not a lot of flavour to it. Something you could drink a lot of but not very memorable.

Cask at ITFC Fanzone before yet another, but expected devastating defeat, with plenty more to come. At least I get to sample some of the guest ales beforehand. Every cloud and all that. Anyway, aroma of caramel, malts, toffee and a bit of biscuit. Smooth but not blown away by the taste. A decent bitter.

Cask at the Bury St. Edmunds Beer Festival with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is whisky, booze, woody, vanilla, toffee, chocolate, coffee and dried fruits. Very warming taste and full bodied. The woody alcohol taste dominates. So smooth and virtually no carbonation. Slight sourness developed to join the bitterness at the finish. A quite excellent effort and the clear beer of the festival.
