From cask at Shakespear next to Piccadilly station with Terje 16.04.25. Mahogany amber. Foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of sweetly roasted malt, dried red berries and caramel.

Keg at Spice Island Inn, Old Portsmouth. A ha,y dull gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. A hint of citrus. A sour streak. But the core is sugary sweet fruit. Gains some resinous bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft Serve carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent enough.

Nice traditional British IPA, maybe too much toffee in aroma and flat carbonation, drinkable but calling it Imperial?

Bottle. Very good ale. Smelled like a old clean cellar. Brings back memories of my youth. Taste was slightly fruity and slightly woody. Great after taste. Highly recommend this beer.
