Bottle - Dark malts, sourness, yeasts, grass and spice. Jet black with a light brown head. Chocolate, dark malts and a funky yeasty finish. Fun, weird and not a saison.

Tap at WWBA although I plan on visiting brewery soon I used a ticket for this rate since the idea of having a brewery in city limits I haven’t tried bugs me. pours amber, with white head. nose is candied sugar and sour fruit. I did get the stone fruit, with barn yard, pretty doughy, and vanilla. ok

Bottle shared in NYC - big thanks to Dr. Sandman. Pours hazy, amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has some bread, toasted caramel, Belgian yeast, candi sugar. Light to medium sweet flavor, some muted bread, toasty sugars. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, reasonably well balanced, some ripe fruits, bread. OK.

Bottle shared in NYC. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has expressive Belgian yeast, herbs, pepper, some lemon. Light to medium sweet flavor with some biscuity sweetness, subtle funk, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, pretty clean, some dry bread, straw, more rindy citrus. Nice herbal qualities. Solid.
